You will be hearing about Labin’s coal miners and their riot, Labin republic, Matthias Flacius – your guide will take you through Labin’s intense history and famous personas during a 2-hour walk that will end with a refreshing tasting of indigenous Istrian products.

Only thirty kilometers away from famous tourist centers, the peace and serenity of this place goes year round, winter and summer. Pazin – a town rich with history and traditions. On the plateau of surrounding hills the old part of the town is situated on a cliff. Below the cliffs lies the abyss of the Pazinčica river, a geological phenomenon known as the Pazinska jama.

Every Tuesday morning during August you can take a free sightseeing tour of the town of Pazin accompanied by a licensed tourist guide in Croatian and English, followed by a free tasting of indigenous Istrian products.

The program of this event called ‘stories of Žminj’ will take you through this small village through all its corners. Start the day with a free guided sightseeing tour of Žminj with an English speaking guide, and later take break from all the walking at Latus – a small family firm of high quality dairy products. Latus opens its doors to visitors on Wednesdays and Fridays with their organized tastings of their dairy products paired with wines from local producers. Bon Appetit!

The tour finishes in Casanova’s Shelter, where he stayed when he first visited Vrsar in 1743.

Monte Madonna (Svetica) is one of the few positive examples of preserving fortification heritage in the area of ​​Pula. It is also often called the “underground city” of Svetica. Uzvisina Svetica is located about three kilometers southeast of Šišan, 16 kilometers from Pula, between the Kale and Kuja bays, overlooking Kvarner Bay. The Svetica Complex is the first artificial, underground fortification of the permanent type in Croatia that is available to the public.

You can cycle free of charge on the Monte Madonna Fortress in Šišan accompanied by guides.  Free guided sightseeing tour of Monte Madonna Fortress in Šišan are organized every Friday in the morning (at 10:00) and will last until September 7th.
